Work in Progress
One early morning in the office, I stared into this construction site in front of my workstation. Looking at it, I feel it’s like us. We’re under construction, being built by God to become the structure that He intricately designed to be. There are so many materials, resources, and time to spend but are all intelligently planned and gracefully provided by Him to ensure it will stand beautifully and purposely.
We’re our Master’s work that is in progress and waiting to completely be built according to His purpose.
Non Conformity
I like comparing my experience in a long-distance-land travel via van vs. bus. Van looks more elegant and comfortable while bus looks more massive and boring. However, when you start to move for long hour drive to your destination, van is more shaky and uncomfortable while bus is more steady and calm.
This goes the same way with our beliefs and where we are conforming our personal standard. Van which is comparable to earthly standard will make you look nice that can superficially attract many people but as you go along your travel, it is shaky, tiring, and dissatisfying. Bus which signifies heavenly standard may look boring but as you follow God’s path, it makes you more relaxed, worry free, and happy.
Choose wisely.
